Leading the field in Division 4 are the stalwart members of Unison D, who consolidated their position by beating OTTC B in a match in which Dennis Heyes proved outstanding.

It has proved to be a bad week for two of the Werneth sides, both being ‘whitewashed’, the contributions of Philip Tamworth, Dinesh Gorasia & John Tanner proving too strong for Werneth G, while the inter-club clash between the Werneth E & F teams resulted in a resounding 10-0 victory for the former, Phil Coombe, Darren Mitzi & Brian Micklethwaite all being successful, while Marjorie Riddle showed glimpses of her old form playing for the luckless F team.

The newly formed Deaf Club B team continued to make progress by beating Coldhurst E 8-2, three of the wins coming from Matthew Gartside, while David England received commendation on his performance for the losers.

The Deaf Club B team also beat Honeywell Lane F 6-4 in an enjoyable close encounter, Matthew Gartside once again proving the most successful player with his three wins.
